1 Bed Duplex Apartment

Great location and good overall. Positive: Location was amazing as everything in the town was just a short walk away - shops, restaurants and bus stops all within a very easy distance. Great amount of space in the property and pretty comfortable. Negative: The host could spend a little more time on the details, such as making sure the shower rail is attached well and the bathroom door latch works properly. The floor in the kitchen area needs a proper sweep and mop as we found food under the table and a sticky patch by the units. The front door to the block doesn't open fully as the door closer has previously been moved - either a larger closer could be used or a Perko spring chain one that goes inside the door itself.

Wouldn’t stay here again even if you paid me. Positive: Not much Negative: Very noisy and loud. Isn’t as clean as it looks on the pictures. The cleaning staff are very rude, i lost my £150 deposit because I didn’t take the rubbish out? And there was juice spilt on the carpet in which i witnessed the cleaners spilt lol. The people who own this are rude. They are took my deposit because i checked out a little bit late due to my 4 month old being poorly. Ridiculous tbh. Not what i expected for what i paid, cost £450 in total. Ridiculous. All i smelt was cannabis when staying in this apartment too. i left my gold earrings here at this apartment and my gold bracelet on the living room windowsill and was told there was nothing there!! £800 worth of gold lost, they were sentimental to me too!!

Noise from the bar is loud. Flat looks good in photos though. Positive: The instructions from the host were clear about how to get into the building and apartment. It was decorated nicely. Negative: It’s not clear how regularly the door codes are updated if at all so as a solo traveller I was concerned that someone else could access the flat. The front door also opened out into the hall so you can’t wedge it closed from the inside. The noise from the bar below is loud and continues late into the night. This is not somewhere to stay for a quiet break. The front door to the apartment had a large gap to the door frame. The bedroom door was too small for the frame and didn’t click close. Kitchen had a panel missing from one of the units.

Positive: The apartment was well decorated and proportioned, in a first class location for our needs. Negative: When booking the apartment was unaware of the stairs to the flat. Due to the fact that a family member has restricted mobility it was a bit of a problem. Which is not the fault of the apartment, the only issue was the amount of door codes.
